Mission Statement

The mission of the Korean School for Global Leaders is to help both heritage students and non-heritage students learn Koran language and culture and guide them to develop their leadership skills for 21st century thorough innovative teaching practices, Korean cultural activities, and technology, in order to serve the educational needs of the Korean-American Community and the global community in New York City, and New York State area.

We provide 

• differentiated instruction based on students’ interests and Korean language proficiency levels.

• Project-Based Learning with students’ Korean language leaning.

• opportunities for students to practice their presentation skills and boost their self-esteem by engaging them in community events to promote Korean language and culture.

Teachers

Our NYS certified teachers are dedicated to serve our students to achieve their individual goals. Teachers carefully monitor students' proficiency level and help students progress higher levels of proficiency in the three modes of communication each semester.
