In each semester, students learn Korean language and culture under a thematic unit through a variety of lessons and activities in Project-Based Learning approach. Students are guided to set their own goals each semester under the theme, and teachers provide differentiated instruction to reach their individual goals by using authentic materials that are appropriate to each student’s proficiency level.
Students practice presenting what they have learned regularly through our program. They create Google Slides (3-5th graders) by drawing pictures and/or adding texts or other effects for audience to understand about their topic easily. Teachers carefully monitor students’ progress on public speaking and encourage them to present their projects clearly with confidence.
We provide a variety cultural activities such as K-pop dance, music, cooking, and art and craft under the theme of each semester. Outcomes of activities are then used as parts of the collaborative play.
